I’m always looking to make it a December to Remember! How about you?
Today, I am sitting in my office smelling the redolent candle I picked up last month. I love the smell, it is pumpkin + spice. Have I told you that I love pumpkin?
Funny thing, this Fall season, instead of going out and buying a pumpkin pie or gorging on pumpkin bread, or, going to Andy’s Custard and getting that delightful and sinful Pumpkin Pie concrete, I’ve started plopping down some canned pumpkin, adding pumpkin spice and a packet of Splenda, and voilà, I get my very own, crustless pumpkin pie.
Okay, I know, it isn’t really pumpkin pie, but I get to taste that pumpkin flavor, which, I think is redolent.
Wait, what? “What the heck is redolent?” you say. Well, it means a sweet fragrant. Something like “exuding fragrance: aromatic” is what the Miriam Webster online dictionary says.
Did you have a redolent smelling Thanksgiving? Do you love the smell of Fall like I do?
I hopped on the Grammarly blog today and came up with the blog post 8 Scrumptious Words to Describe Your Thanksgiving Dinner. I really like the word scrumptious, always have, but redolent got my attention.
Speaking of Grammarly, I probably would not be able to write without this wonderful tool. Its help for me is a redolent fragrance.
You can install the tool on your desktop or in your browser and use it to spell and grammar checks your writing. It can keep you from making embarrassing mistakes.
It helps with documents you write, emails, blog posts, web content and more. It even has a built-in plagiarizing check tool.
There is a free option which might be fine for what you do or you can use the premium version if you do more writing for your business.
Since I am not the best speller … .cough… cough. . and my grammar is often suspect, I use Grammarly because my friend The Grumpy Grammarian is not always available.
So, check out Grammarly. You can install and get a free account if you want to try it out.
By the way, this is not an affiliate link. 😉
